Together, we’re tackling some of the toughest problems in search of even tougher ones. We have facilities in all 67 counties in Florida, working together to help local farmers and economies grow and thrive. Our Emerging Pathogens Institute is a national model, charged with protecting the nation from a whole host of diseases and pathogens. Our ocean research helps protect the coasts responsible for 75 percent of Florida’s G.D.P. at home and the homes of 3.5 billion people worldwide.
Gator GoodUF has a 2,000-acre campus and more than 900 buildings, including the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum-certified building in the state of Florida. That was just the beginning; now UF has more LEED-certified buildings than any other American university and with your help, we can continue to lead Florida and the world to a greener future.
